The Camfil CamSafe 3 is a safe change HEPA filter housing system designed specifically for containment exhaust air applications within hospital and healthcare facilities, including isolation rooms, cytotoxic areas, research laboratories, pathology areas and cyclotron or nuclear medical areas.

All individual components are fully welded and are able to withstand ±5000 Pa internal pressure, meeting all relevant international standards for air tightness, including EUROVENT 2/2:Class C, EN1886: Class L1, ISO 10648-2: Class 3 and EN 12237:Class D.

Easy and safe filter installation and change-out using bag-in-bag out (BIBO) procedures are assured by in-built safe change service systems. In situ scanning test system inclusions allow for annual NATA accredited HEPA integrity testing to be carried out without any requirement to open the filter housing or disturb the pressure boundary.

Filtration is customisable within each housing, allowing for pre-filters, HEPA filters and molecular (HEGA) filters. The arrangement of multiple housing channels in parallel alignment is available to meet the requirements of larger volumes of air up to 20,400 m³/h (5666 L/s).
