Tuesday, 15 July, 2014
General Practice Registrars Australia (GPRA) has announced the candidates for the 2014 Board elections.
Five candidates have nominated for the positions currently open and results from the electronic poll will be made available on 15 August.
GPRA Chair, Dr David Chessor says he is delighted for GPRA to have had such a strong response to its call for nominations.
“It is great to see a number of nominees for this election. The high quality of this year’s candidates is a reflection of the strength of GPRA as the peak body representing GP trainees,” Dr Chessor says.
There are two Registrar Director positions currently available on the GPRA Board. Election of the new directors is to occur via electronic preferential vote.
