At only 18 kg, the Zinger wheelchair is claimed to be the lightest weighted electric folding chair in the world.
With its sporty look and easy-to-use control system, the chair appeals to all age groups.
The Zinger was invented by American designers Royce and Joel Husted, who are DK City’s long-term business partners. It has an anti-theft key for the battery pack, an easy-to-learn control system with super-slow mode for first-time users and speeds of up to 9.5 km/h for more experienced users.
Listening to patient feedback, DK City also released the Joy Rider chair with a joystick and electronic magnetic brake.
Both chairs can be folded within seconds, and their compact design makes it simple to fit them into a car boot. Other features include a swing-away footrest making it easier to get in and out of the chair, a small turning circle and a safe and removable Li-ion battery pack.
