Providing a quality food service to vulnerable persons certainly comes with its challenges. We at Catering Industries have the experience, knowledge, skills, commitment and reputation to provide the industry with peace-of-mind that residents are being well looked after.

For over 35 years, we have been partnering aged care facilities in the provision of a quality catering service.

We have focused heavily on satisfying the requirements of the market through investment in systems, processes and personnel skills and experience that best fit the demands of residents and clients within government legislation.

As no two facilities are the same in terms of resident mix, we do not have a universal model that we roll out across the country. Our menus are formulated via client budgets, resident likes, and nutritional balance. Residents and clients alike are involved heavily in menu selection. We understand that meal service is one of the more important activities of the day for residents, therefore we survey and use feedback from meetings to tailor menus on a regular basis.

Satisfying our clients and residents is our number one priority. As a family owned business, we understand the importance of relationships, and we tend to over-service our clients through micromanagement. Unique within the contract catering industry, every member of our operations team is a trade qualified chef. Our Operations Division is backed by Training Managers, and our own dedicated Quality and Regulatory Compliance department who manage the ever increasing demands of government legislation imposed on aged care facilities.

In 35 years of business, we have never had a major non-conformance, or put our client’s reputation at risk through accreditation failures.

We take full control of your catering operation, to include:

  • All purchasing and payment of suppliers

  • Staff training, development and replacement

  • Food Safety, OHS Programmes and certified Quality Management Systems

  • Full Accreditation Support

  • Surveying, relative liaison and meeting attendance
