The RPA Virtual Hospital, known as rpavirtual, was launched in early 2020 as an alternate, sustainable solution to the increasing demand for health care in Sydney. It offers a new model of care which combines Sydney LHD’s integrated hospital and community care with the latest digital solutions. rpavirtual acts as a bridge between hospital specialist services and patient care in the community. Join this session to learn about:
• what is required to run a 24/7 virtual care centre to successfully support patients and clinicians • safety protocol considerations in virtual care • insights and lessons learned from the polit programs and COVID-19 virtual care program • clinician and patient feedback on this new model of care.
