‘Working together to implement and deliver a connected and integrated health system’
CeBIT Australia’s E-health Conference: the country’s leading platform for the health sector to exchange knowledge and showcase integrated services that deliver results for the patient through innovative models of healthcare.
The Australian Government has everything in place to create a health system that will see doctors, nurses and the allied health professions working together so as to offer a service that will put patients at first. Part of the Nation Health Reform includes the development of secure and efficient health system that will help close the gap between various areas of the healthcare system. The e-health reform will focus on identifying patient needs and implementing projects that achieve positive outcomes for the community. The federal e-health system is supported by the implementation of a personally controlled electronic healthcare record (PCEHR) that will be available to all Australians from 1 July 2012.
CeBIT will continue to build on the success of 2010 and 2011 by bringing together policy makers, healthcare providers, decision makers and end-users in an information exchange and technology showcase for the health sector. This event will continue to aid the federal and state government hospital and health sector reforms by providing a platform where government and industry can openly communicate and collaborate.
This program will provide expert insights and case studies from across the spectrum of healthcare to showcase innovation in hospitals, progress in establishing integrated frameworks and highlight emerging healthcare technology.
