The National Nursing Forum: Staying ahead of the game

The National Nursing Forum, hosted by Australian College of Nursing (ACN),  is a must attend event for our members and the broader nursing community.


Our theme for the 2014 Forum, Staying ahead of the game, focusses on how to, individually and as a profession, adapt and thrive in a complex, changing and often challenging health environment.
acnAs nurses, how can we grow, develop and support each other in providing quality care?
How can we remain ahead of the game by educating current and future nurses to recognise the talent and leadership opportunities that lie within each field of nursing?
This year, at the Forum, we are looking to diversify our networks, expand our perspectives and look toward inventive ways to steer these imminent changes within our health care system toward excellent care, within a culture that supports and enhances the contribution that the practice of nurses can make.
The National Nursing Forum will showcase:

  • creative, thought provoking keynotes and invited speakers

  • informative concurrent sessions

  • new workshop sessions to provide nurses with the tools to implement key concepts in the workplace.
