Our proven method of construction for shielded rooms uses copper, the best material for MRI and medical shielding applications. Copper has the highest conductivity, durability and corrosion resistance of any commonly used shielding material. Combined with our range of superior quality RF shielded doors, windows and components our customers can be confident that a shielded room built by Faraday will perform to specification. Imaging “artifacts” are eliminated, giving radiographers a crystal clear view of the intended scan and improved diagnosis of the patient’s condition.

Faraday has a dedicated in-house team that can capably construct your project in any given location, be it locally or in remote locations of Australia or New Zealand. We test our shielded rooms using international test standards to ensure we meet specifications, and we invite our customers to witness the testing.
We also offer a unique in house design service utilizing Revit™, Navisworks™ and Autocad™ software, enabling us to provide a complete design solution from simple shop drawings to 3D models and BIM (Building Information Modelling).
Faraday’s staff also possess extensive technical capability, providing a range of consulting services including EMF consultation and on-site ambient magnetic field testing to assess the suitability of proposed MRI sites within your building. Our team can perform a site assessment and identify issues which could potentially cause costly redesigns before they occur.
