CGRAMW offers a comprehensive service from site master planning and brief preparation through to the design of specialist clinical facilities. Allied design services include interior design and landscape architecture.
CGRAMW’s latest health projects include Australia’s first fully digital hospital - St Stephen’s Hospital in Hervey Bay, and the $1.5 billion Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital (with Lyons) in Brisbane. Both projects are due to open in 2014 and are widely regarded as being at the forefront of innovation in healthcare design. In 2013, the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital was awarded the International Future Health Project award by the International Academy for Design and Health.
CGRAMW is also sharing its expertise and knowledge to help other countries meet the challenges of good healthcare design. The firm was recently invited to participate in a limited design competition for a 2600 bed hospital and research facility in Zhejiang Hangzhou, China. “There is much that the Australian health experience and knowledge can bring to international projects to create an environment that promotes a greater sense of wellbeing in patients as a well as a high level of planning and amenity for the healthcare teams,” commented Bruce Wolfe, Managing Director of CGRAMW.
