Antec Controls Venturi and Venturi FX Valves

Antec Controls' precision airflow control devices are designed to ensure critical spaces remain properly pressurised, containing airborne pathogens and keeping occupants safe.

With two different valve options, the products can suit the needs of any critical space application. Though both valves accomplish the same goal of precision airflow control, they use different technologies and mechanics to ensure laboratories, isolation rooms, operating rooms and pharmacies are properly and efficiently pressurised.

Available through Holyoake Industries, Antec Controls’ Venturi Valves are mechanically pressure independent airflow control valves designed specifically for room pressure and fume hood control applications. Features include: characterised using accredited airflow stations, medium- or low-pressure operation and operating pressure feedback.

The Venturi FX is designed specifically for room pressure control and laboratory applications. Paired with the maintenance-free, high-accuracy Antec Controls Pressure Transducer (PTX) and an actuator, the VFX is designed to achieve precise airflow measurement and control for critical environments. During operation, the Venturi FX measures flow using ports installed non-invasive to the airflow stream, greatly reducing the risk of lint or other airborne particulates interfering with the control or accuracy of the valve. In addition, the Venturi FX operates at low pressure drop while achieving a 10:1 turndown ratio. Each valve is factory verified on NVLAP accredited airflow calibration stations (NVLAP Lab Code 201067-0 complying with ISO/IEC 17025:2005) using N.I.S.T traceable equipment for dependable and repeatable valve accuracy.
