CleanSpace Technology HALO respirators

CleanSpace HALO is a powered respirator without the conventional belts and hoses associated with PAPR, in one light and easy-to-use system. CleanSpace HALO is designed specifically for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and laboratory sectors and is being used to protect frontline healthcare staff globally.

The device’s proprietary technology is AirSensit, which is breath responsive to deliver filtered air on demand. Created by bioengineers, the respirator can be used with the CleanSpace STERI-PLUS exhalation valve filter as the source control to filter the wearer’s exhaled air in sterile settings.

The CleanSpace SMART APP provides instant wireless connection to the CleanSpace HALO to check measures such as unit battery level and mask fit, anytime during a work shift. This feature allows healthcare staff to wear their personal protective equipment (PPE) in confidence. The CleanSpace Smart App can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

The product has the Australian standard approval of AS/NZS 1716 Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) and is IP rated 66 water tolerant. Being reusable, the respirators reduce costs and reliance on supply chains and stockpiling.
