The Wamee rapID keyboard combines a washable design and radio frequency identification (RFID) reader for infection control and fast, secure logon.
The keyboard uses rfIDEAS’ WAVE ID platform to allow single sign-on security to enhance workflows in healthcare facilities.
One tap unlocks the workstation and provides ultrafast entry to multiple systems to prevent the need to remember numerous passwords and save time logging on and off. The combined keyboard and RFID reader saves space by reducing the number of items required at a workspace.
The USB Micro Integrated Card Reader is dual band capable of reading both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz credentials. It can be configured to read four different card configurations, including frequency, card type and data formatting, and works with all RFID card types, including Imprivata.
To help in low-light situations the keyboard is backlit with three different colours (aqua, blue, green) and has a membrane switch for quieter, faster key response.
