Wavelink partner program to support channel growth in ANZ
A new partner program launched by Wavelink will provide its 300+ transacting partners with the tools, incentives and support they need to grow, and further support Wavelink’s sustained revenue growth of over 300% in the last four years.
Following its recent business model overhaul, which included the creation of two distinct business units (distribution and Connected Health), Wavelink undertook a strategic review of its partner program. It is now launching this new program, tailored to each type of partner, to ensure partners have the best support to be successful in the market.
Under the distribution business unit, the partner program consists of two streams: the first is for Fortinet partners, offering complementary benefits on top of Fortinet’s own Engage 2.0 partner program; the second is geared towards Wavelink’s enterprise mobility partners. Both streams have four partner levels, awarded based on revenue and certification.
Membership to the partner program for the Connected Health business is by invitation only and is aimed at large, tier-one partners that are closely aligned in working with the business unit on securing, implementing and supporting large health opportunities.
Some of the key benefits for being a higher-tier partner include higher margins, more favourable trading terms, reduced freight costs and deal registration rebates.
Wavelink Sales Director Nick Touzeau said, “It’s important for Wavelink to ensure its partners have access to the best program possible to help them succeed, grow and, in turn, contribute to Wavelink’s growth and increase its market share across Australia and New Zealand. Partners are the foundation of Wavelink’s business and this new partner program is a significant investment in ensuring we have a partner development structure in place for the future.
“Wavelink’s goal is to help each partner excel and accelerate to the next level with the aim of becoming an Elite partner, where they will receive the maximum benefit from the program. Wavelink is committed to giving back to the partners that work closely with us and want to do well. This program is designed to do just that.”
As part of the program, higher-tier partners will have access to the new staging area in Wavelink’s Melbourne head office. This is a dedicated area allocated for partner- and/or customer-owned equipment. Wavelink’s specialist pre-sales and staging team members are available to tailor staging services on behalf of partners, including storage, device preparation, device registration, pre-configuration, testing, and re-boxing and shipping.
“The staging area lets integrators and cloud and managed security service providers use Wavelink’s services team to assist in customising their solution offerings,” Touzeau explained. “Wavelink removes the burden of storing, setting up and shipping equipment so partners can focus on what they do best.
“Wavelink remains committed to understanding its partners’ businesses and where they want to be in the future. This new partner program takes this into account, and we look forward to rolling it out across the region.”
