The HIT-W183 is an innovative, ultra-slim healthcare information terminal from the Advantech iHealthcare series. This 18.5″ device is an all-in-one computer that has an Intel Apollo Lake N4200 CPU. With medical and ITE dual certification (EN60601-1 4th Edition and EN60950), the HIT-W183 is suitable for applications in hospitals, such as bedside information terminals, IP nurse call stations and treatment centres. It can also be used as a HMI for medical equipment.

The device features a 41 mm thin body enclosure (12 mm at its thinnest part), USB 3.0, a 5 MP camera and dual isolated Ethernet, which allows hospitals to separate and manage internal and external network traffic. The HIT-W183 also features a dedicated audio codec for the company’s background noise-cancelling handset to provide high audio quality for calls to nurse stations. The available optional nurse call button and LED indicator can be easily linked to existing nurse call systems in hospitals and can be operated independently, even when the system is off. With a true-flat touchscreen for easy cleaning and an IP65-rated front panel, this healthcare information terminal is suitable for a multitude of medical applications.
