Bizcaps Software Master Catalogue Information System

Bizcaps Software’s Master Catalogue Information System (MCIS) is a configurable software platform, providing data recipients with a framework for product master data management and governance. It delivers visibility into, and control over, unified supplier product and pricing information, with workflow automation of business processes involving data collection, enrichment and approvals ensuring consistency and traceability.

MCIS can be used by state healthcare procurement departments and hospitals to manage the administrative workload associated with harmonising large volumes of product and supply chain data between trading partners. Procurement, supply chain and clinical staff can search and manage multiple supplier product catalogues concurrently in a single secure cloud-based platform.

MCIS securely validates and synchronises product information between buyers and suppliers in real time, minimising errors and claims issues. It automates the process of extracting and integrating the relevant product information from the National Product Catalogue (NPC) and other data sources into internal product master catalogues.

Search capabilities make it simple to find and share product information. Configurable rule validation, translations and synchronisation triggers and alerts, with customisable dashboard-style reporting, provide control and transparency.

Digital assets can be stored and retrieved, enabling distribution of product images and key product information directly to MCIS users and connected systems.

MCIS is built on Bizcaps FlowScribe master data management platform that provides out-of-the-box integration with GDSN data pools, including the NPC operated by GS1 Australia. API connectors enable integration with existing systems such as ERP, EMR and Inventory Management.
