Dignitana DigniCap Delta Scalp Cooling System

Dignitana’s DigniCap Delta is the fourth generation of The DigniCap Scalp Cooling System, indicated to prevent chemotherapy-induced hair loss in patients with solid tumours.

The single-use cap system provides each patient with a flexible Cooling Wrap and an adjustable Thermal Cap designed to optimise scalp cooling outcomes and infection control, and minimise clinic storage needs.

The dual-cap system is designed to provide uniform contact for optimal results, with adjustable tabs and chin strap to allow a comfortable fit.

The system uses solid-state cooling for precise temperature control, with a quick-connect hose positioned for patient comfort, an intuitive user interface for ease of operation and an ergonomic design for clinical staff and patients. The intuitive interface has been reported to reduce nursing time per patient infusion compared with the existing device.

The unit is 54% smaller than earlier models and is designed for flexibility in tight spaces, also allowing patient mobility for post-infusion cooling. The unit’s quiet operation is designed to cause minimal disruption during treatment.
