Trotec recently presented the latest in dynamic 3D laser marking, with the launch of what is claimed to be the world’s first virtual rotary (VR) device on its SpeedMarker DS marking lasers.
Powered through Trotec’s SpeedMark software, the VR enables high-speed, distortion-free marking of tubes, tilted planes and other cylindrical objects. Designed for medical instruments of all different shapes and sizes made from metal, plastic or ceramic, multiple objects in a workstation can be easily marked in a single run. This efficient workflow, with no additional rotary system hardware required, helps to reduce costs. Simple positioning of applications in cost-efficient jigs leads to high production throughput in a short time frame.
Unique device identification is made easy with Trotec’s intuitive SpeedMark software via the generation of texts and serial numbers, along with barcodes and 2D codes like data matrix codes, which can be generated automatically with dynamic and variable content.
